Second Baptist Lady Eagles To Challenge Westbury Christian's Lady Wildcats. District Play Opens January 3rd

District play starts Tuesday January 3rd with the Lady Eagles playing in their home court challenging Westbury Christians Lady Wildcats. Senior guard Taylor Barnett leads the Lady Eagles in their quest to take over the TAPPS 4A District 4 title, but the Lady Wildcats fresh coming home with a win over TAPPS number 2 rated John Paul II at Sandra Meadows tournament this week.

Westbury Christian Trounces St Pius X 75-35

Westbury Christian faced St Pius at home last night for one of the most anticipated girls private school showdown in Houston. The venue was a full house with MaxPreps present to witness the game. The Lady Wildcats started in a good note and continue to hustle and play hard till the last seconds of the game sealing the victory by 40 points. Westbury Christian lead by senior guards Tiffany Davis and Sylvana Okde scoring 22 and 16 points respectively followed by sophomore guard Hannah Cambel with 12 buckets. Girls Basketball Can Get Really Physical...

After returning winless from a trip to northwest the Lady Wildcats of Westbury Christian will not settle for another loss. Not at home Not tonight! The game became physical against the HCYA Lady Warriors. The Lady Wildcats had an early lead and never looked back winning the contest 85-20 with three starters in double figures. Tiffany Davis with 24, Sylvana Okde with 25 and Imani Smith tabbed 14 points followed by Hannah Cambel 9, KC Rodgers 5 and Juliana Rosolino with 4. Senior Point Guard Ashley Alexander of Klein High School Returning Strong For Her Last Season

After suffering from months of injuries, senior point guard Ashley Alexander of Klein high school is back to show everyone that she can overcome and still succeed with confidence and determination and of course great support from her loving parents. Alexander is great team player that will always get her team mates involved. An excellent passer, smart, can shoot and drive the ball to basket when and if needed. She will be a great addition to any college that will give her the opportunity to show what she is all about. Coming from a family of athletes, Ashley knows what it takes to compete and be successful. The visiting Westbury Christian lost 2 in a row away from home in the northwest towns of Texas to Georgetown and Pflugerville. Georgetown led by senior Emily Johnson and junior Kaitlin Walla just made it look to easy for the Eagles and handed the 72-33 loss to the Lady Wildcats.

Dallas Lincoln Repeats Defending The Aldine Invitational Title

Dallas Lincoln showed up with all their weapons to defend last year title for the Aldine Invitational catching the Lady Wildcats by surprise. Klein Oaks Won 3rd Place At The Aldine Invitational

Klein Oaks refuses to loose twice in a day grabbing the 3rd place at the Aldine Girls Varsity Basketball Invitational knocking off Friendswood 46-37. Ana Dominguez tabs 11 for Klein Oaks while Jill Bergeson scored 26 of the Lady Mustangs 37 points.

Klein Oaks Faces Friendswood For The 3rd Spot

Klein Oaks played well the first two quarters but just can't find a way to stop the Westbury Christian's surge in the 3rd quarter when guard Tiffany Davis and Sylvana Okde took over the game to win it by 6 for the Lady Wildcats. Westbury Christian will play Dallas Lincoln for the championship later today after the Friendswood and Klein Oaks showdown for 3rd place.

Friendswood Lost To Dallas Lincoln 66-34

#11 Jillian Bergeson Friendswood's high scoring guard did all she can but just can't do it all by herself against the Dallas Lincoln talented team. They will face the loser on Klein Oaks and Westbury Christian game later this afternoon for the 3rd place at the Aldine Invitational.

Aldine Tournament Day 2 - Hunstville Take An Early Exit After A Loss To Westbury Christian 71-77

Westbury Christian played with all their heart tonight beating Hunstville by six points in a very close game. Tiffany Davis dropped 31 points while Sylvana Okde and Hannah Cambel hit 12 points each. Huntsville leading scorers are Dequayla Terry with 19 points followed by Maya Perry with 14 and Ceidra Coleman added 13.

Westbury Christian Top Santa Fe 76-38 @ Aldine Tournament

The Westbury Christian Wildcats Girls Basketball team won Thursday's Tournament game against the Santa Fe Indians by a score of 76-38. They will play Huntsville tomorrow.
