Don't count them out yet... Lady Wildcats showed tenacity in their second meeting with Lutheran North who was favored to win on top of TAPPS 4A District 4 this season. Senior point guard Carly Truesdale showed why she is a great point guard. She got everyone involved early in the game that had the lady lions guessing on who to defend. She made some great precised passes that made her teammate scored open baskets. The score book may not show it, but it was a game that a true point guard showed her best. She finished with 11 points, countless assists, rebounds and a few blocks. Lady wildcats was led by senior post Allison Ondrusek with 18 points followed by junior guard Hannah Cambel with 17 points who hits 5 three pointers with 4 of them before the half giving the wildcats a 29-11 lead. We can not forget senior guard KC Rodgers and junior guard Leslie Nava doing all the dirty work for the lady wildcats creating havoc on Lutheran North's offense. Westbury Christian will play Lutheran South for TAPPS 4A District 4 Title game 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16th. It's a match up you don't want to miss. Will Westbury Christian repeat and hold on to their crown or will they be challenged by the young Lady Pioneers? Game is set and ready to be played!
