Sophomores Trey Williams and Gary Smith are two of the rising guards in the city. They are The Village High School deadly backcourt combination. Smith and Williams can shoot the long threes, can penetrate, and dishes the ball and shoot mid range jump shots. Adding a post like Shaquille in the middle makes it a lot more difficult to defend the Vikings offense. Having only sophomores and freshmen makes them one of the youngest team in the city. The Village High School already showing maturity this season will be turning some heads in the next few years and with some of the freshmen addition, the Vikings will truly go farther next season.
